Along the coast towards Spain

Colloure is a delightful port with narrow streets, castles and forts, and some nice restaurants. See walks book.

Port Vendres is a working fishing port with an excellent fresh and prepared fish supermarket at the far north end of the harbour. At the southern end there is a good walk/drive to Cap Bear.

In summer, Banyuls-s-Mer is good for sea kayaking.
