The Surrounding Area
The St. Cyprien area is a year round holiday destination. In the summer, it offers not only sunshine, beaches and watersports, but many other attractions. The Aqualand waterpark and Grand Stade sports complex are both within walking distance, and the prestigious golf course 10 minutes drive away. In the winter, St. Cyprien (read more...) itself is not so busy but there is still plenty to do. For the energetic, the French Pyrenees (read more...) ski resorts are less than 2 hours drive away. They are less busy and expensive than the more widely known alpine resorts yet still offer some exciting skiing.
The Pyrenees mountains are also a great place for walking, biking and rafting in the summer. The dramatic Mediterranean coastline (read more...) is within minutes of the apartment. The Spanish border is 30 minutes drive away. Andorra is a 3 hour drive away but it is a duty-free shopping haven and the scenery is terrific and well worth the journey.
